Winter Wedding in Geelong

The lovely couple Danielle and Joshua were married in Geelong last month. A bit of a climate change from their current home in Darwin but despite the cold it was lovely for Danielle to be wed in her hometown of Geelong.

Josh and his mates had a fun time getting ready in Geelong at the Vue apartments. Take note of all the little details from the coat hangers to the hammer tie pin. Very dapper in their James Bond suits!

Danielle got ready with her bridesmaids and family at her family farm in Winchelsea. Colour by Courtney did a lovely job of makeup, enhancing the natural loveliness of Danielle and her entourage. The beautiful bouquets were created by the clever team at As Daisy Does. Gorgeous for a winter wedding!

A special note that Danielle wore her paternal grandmother's wedding dress and ring. Truly vintage and perfect on Danielle!

A three car fleet of red Mustangs of the every awesome Mustang and Co carried the bridal party to the wedding ceremony which was celebrated in a Nuptial Mass at St Mary of the Angels Basilica Geelong,

Despite the intermittent rain and cold, the sun made a gentle appearance for the bridal party photos! The red mustangs looked a treat on the hills of Ceres, adding a pop of vibrance to the lovely soft winter palette. Some very curious cows added to the pastoral scene.

A further drive tooks us to a farm garden for more photos and a nice warm haystack where the bridal party arranged themselves picture perfectly!

The reception was then held in the warmth of Le Parisian back in Geelong where a fun night was continued on with family and friends!
