King Parrot and Truffleduck

Back again at the divine King Parrot Cottages for the wedding of the loveliest couple Christie and Conor.

King Parrot provided it's own little micro climate for the wedding (misty) but that didn't stop a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The bridal party got ready in the various bush cottages around the beautiful bush property.

There were so many little personal touches. From the sweet inscription engraved on the rings "Eternal Love C&C" and the amazing cake by Mrs G's Cakes decorated to look like it was grown in the forest!

Christie looked gorgeous in her lace and chiffon gown and Conor complimenting his bride in a pale grey three piece suit. The floral decor was provided by the talented Petals by Elise, not just the beautiful creative bouquets but on the ceremony arbour and the romantic wooden swing and the KP gate. It was too high for the Llamas to eat the flowers though, they missed out on a special wedding feed...

A sweet surprise was in store for Christie lover of animals and particularly horses. A gift from her from her wonderful groom, Conor. Cobb and Co with their huge but lovely, soft and silky Clydesdales arrived to deliver Christie and her bridesmaids in style to the ceremony! Yes I got in a few pats too!

Another personal touch was from the celebrant, a family friend Marita Wilcox - of Ceremonies of Distinction conducting a lovely ceremony, including a traditional custom from their heritage of drinking from a shared cup.

We soon had to say farewell to the horses but we moved on down the hill to the campsite for photos in the creek and the famous 'out house'.

We made it back to the reception before the rain really came down and were soon warmed up by the fabulous hospitality provided by the ever awesome Truffleduck. Mmmmm... Truffleduck

food....insert drool emoji. Beer and cider was provided on tap from the great Kombi Keg team (you guys rock!)

The night went along in fun and good spirits...speeches dancing cake and dessert. Mmm, Truffleduck dessert.

Congratulations to you both Christie and Conor! What a beautiful pair you make! You deserve all the very best happiness. It was a pleasure to be part of your beautiful celebrations and to meet your wonderful family and friends!

I wish you all the very best. Enjoy this selection of images from your wedding day!
