Bellarine to Truffleduck, Wedding

The birds were singing, the bees were buzzing and the tantalising scent of a delicious dark chocolate cake was wafting in from the direction of Truffleduck.

It was the day the vivacious couple Jess and Paul were married. Beautiful Jess got ready at a beautiful historic house in Western Beach Road with her parents and bridesmaids. A gorgeous house, perfect for playing hide and seek as attested to by the cute young flower girl!

I caught the finishing touches of makeup by the marvellous Hillary Holmes and hair being done by Jess’s clever sister; hairdresser, bridesmaid and also singer at the church!

Jess was wearing a divine dress from Bernice Fashions; the lace was exquisite to match an exquisite bride! A special mention to the gorgeous floral arrangements by the Flower Bowl; the bouquets and decor was just delightful.

We made our way to the cute little Uniting Church in Ocean Grove for the ceremony where Paul was waiting…looking very dapper in his blue suit. Family and friends joined in the singing and in witnessing the vows between Paul and Jess.

We wandered off into the woods with the bridal party. A gorgeous little pine forest nearby. Sunlight streaming through the trees…heaven!

Off we trotted to Truffleduck and the Old Papermill for some more photos and various antics with the bridal party. Have I mentioned I love the Old Papermill? Hello rustic!

The reception was held at the ever awesome Truffleduck and the guests were entertained by the dulcet tones of Andy Pobjoy (of Piano Bar fame)on saxophone and keyboard. Guests mingled and had great fun dancing the night away.

Oh and yes, chocolate flour-less cake. Enough said.

Congratulations Jess and Paul it was such a fun day! You are perfect together and I can see you will have the best happiness in the world surrounded by your amazing family and friends.

Enjoy this selection of images from your day! xx
