Wedding at The Pier, Geelong

April started off with glorious sunny days, the first Saturday being perfect for the marriage between Laura and Rhys. There was a bit of an Irish hint throughout the day as Laura is indeed a beautiful Irish rose and now I know why the song "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" was written...

Rhys treated himself to a pint of Guinness whilst getting ready with his mates in Geelong and Laura and her bridesmaids celebrated with champagne! Laura wore the most divine dress from Embrace Bridals with beautiful flowers by Flair to Make you Stare.

The beautiful couple were married at the fabulous and masterly reception venue The Pier on Geelong's Waterfront. The setting was just gorgeous with a beautiful hanging floral display to provide a backdrop and flowers lining the aisle again by the very talented Flair to Make you Stare.

We made our way to the Botanic Gardens for photos where the bridal party looked picture perfect then made our way back to The Pier for the reception. The evening started with lots of fun and laughter with the speeches and a cake cutting. The amazing cake was made by another talented being Sonia of Loveit Cakes. Geelong has talent!
